Vallerie Muthoni aka Brown Suga, Singer- Rapper, is a Kenyan-American recording and performing artiste based in Nairobi, Kenya. She is a versatile artist who simply refuses to be put in one box. She samples hip-hop, trap, RnB & Soul and afrobeat on her two EPs 'the Wavey Soul (2018) and 'Pisces SZN' (2019) meanwhile seamlessly experimenting with these sounds to create an enticing fusion of NuAfrican Sauce. She has perfected the craft of engaging and relating with the audience in her storytelling, stage presence & charisma. When she isn't a Journalism Undergrad by day, she is Performing all over Kenya at shows like Blankets & Wine Festival, Thrift Social pres. Burna Boy, Backyard pres. Lady Leshurr, NairobiRnB Masego Pool pre-party and sharing stages alongside artists such as Kwesta, Shekhinah, Niniola, Karun, Muthoni Drummer Queen, Sauti Sol & Blinky Bill, to name a few. The young rising star got a sterling feature on COLORS X Studios for her undeniable confidence and flow on the song 'Brown Suga'.  Listed as one of the artists on HBR's annual roster Jumpoff Freshmen class of 2018, Vallerie Muthoni is a young East African artiste on a mission of World Domination.
